Everyone appreciates a great gift, something that means something to them or at least stands out from the other items they may be getting. Why not give unusual gifts? These are gifts they will talk about for years to come. With today's push towards improving the quality of life for each person by protecting the environment, there are a few very special gifts you will want to consider. They deliver something special and unique, while still being safe for the environment as a whole.
Thermometers and Rain Gauges

Think about your favorite person's love for gardening. People enjoy being out in the garden and giving them a gift that honors this passion shows that you really do know them well. A good place to look is in the rain gauge and thermometer area. There are many fantastic gifts to give here.

For those who absolutely love to fill their flowerbeds with characters, animals and unique stones, consider rain gauges. Perhaps a rabbit or frog will fit well into their garden full of characters. With a handy measurement device, it can easily collect rain and display just how much fell. At the same time, they are very simple designs, full of great personality.

Perhaps you would like something even more unique. For the animal lover, try a rain gauge in the shape of Noah's Ark. This could be a play on all the animals they care for in and at their home. For that person who is wise beyond their years, a rain gauge in the shape of an owl seems perfect.

In thermometers, you have plenty of additional options, too. From dogs, to trees that remind you of the summer's sun, to even cats and fairies, there are plenty of designs available to really give you the ability to find something that is suitable. These are all fun ways to measure the temperature outdoors in a secretive and decorative manner.

Candles and Votives

Those that love the Earth and want to protect it know that candles can contain a number of different chemicals that are dangerous. The good news is that there are many fantastic options on the market that can easily be used instead. These are not limited: they come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes and often in very decorative designs, too.

For example, to celebrate this holiday season, consider an Advent Wreath candleholder. A decorative, simple and yet memorable way to remember this day. Perhaps you would like to give something a bit more special. Consider any one of many designs to hold candles such as the Washington national Cathedral Good Shepherd Votive, the Nativity Candle, a Peace candle or even something more whimsical like a snowman, bunnies, or butterflies.

Why It Matters

If you are thinking to yourself that you have to spend more or be less creative with your gifts to give Earth friendly items, you are mistaken. The fact is there is still a huge amount of option available to you at great pricing. Best of all, you are doing something great for your family and the world.

All of the mentioned gifts are available as Earth friendly options, made from and providing a safe way to enjoy them. Each delivered to you individually in gift boxes for that very special touch.

This time, do not give them any little thing you find on the store shelves. You do not have to spend countless hours trying to find that one special item either. Instead, give a gift that they will appreciate for what it is, what it does, and why it is safe to use. Of course, you definitely want to be unique to stand out, too!
