5 Reasons Not to Buy Wealthy Affiliate

Greetings! Are you researching ways to make money online? Looking to earn income with the Internet? Maybe you want to buy Wealthy Affiliate? Let me share 5 reasons not to consider this Marketing school before you "bite the bullet."

First off, I'm not going to tell you that they are a scam--they are totally legitimate. That being said, I don't want you to think I'm trying to trick you into reading my article by saying I'm going to give Wealthy Affiliate a negative review and then try to sell you on them. That's what their web site is for. There are real considerations for you to think about before you sign the dotted line, though.

If you are like me, you spent a lot of time researching for a legitimate means of educating yourself in the Internet Marketing field. I don't know how many times I wanted to use my keyboard for a Frisbee going through all the sites weeding out the countless "you can make $5000 while you sleep junk." It just blows me away that these sites have the success they do! I guess there are enough folks out there that expect money to come rolling in two days after signing up. Sorry, I'm ranting, just ticks me off! Back to the matter at hand: "5 reasons not to buy Wealthy Affiliate."

#1 So Much To Learn--Are You Ready To Put In The Time?

Before joining, myself, I knew nothing about Internet Marketing. Also, my 11 year old son can perform computer tasks much better than I can, but it is something that can be learned. It takes TIME--lots of TIME. It can get frustrating. There is so much to absorb, not only computer tasking, but also the wealth of information presented. That being said, it's all explained in detail. If I can do it--you can! You must put the TIME in to incorporate the material.

#2 Are You Task Oriented?

This is the one that will drive me to the bottle. When you decide how you want to Market, there are several ways to go. You have to keep track of a lot of info. You will be involved in numerous places at the same time developing your campaign. You'll have to have organizational skills, or force yourself to stay organized. For me I have to write down all the sites I'm involved with and keep track of them on paper.

#3 Do You Enjoy Writing--Lots Of Writing?

If you buy Wealthy Affiliate, you may want to do what they call, "Bum Marketing," which is marketing without spending money, then you are going to have to write. You know, just like I'm doing here. You can farm it out, but then your spending money. I was worried cause I'm such a slow typist, but I do enjoy it and it keeps the juices flowing. You can be very creative, but it is work.

#4 Do You Like To Research?

In real estate it's "location, location, location." In Internet marketing it's "research, research, research. You really need to know all about what you are promoting--Gathering enough info on the product so that you believe in it to the point of purchasing it yourself. Once again this takes time. There is quite a bit of reading involved. Who knows, maybe you'll be the first person to reach the end of Google! What can make this easier is promoting something you already know a lot about.

#5 Do You Want To Make Money Overnight?

Ain't gonna happen. You will be working your tail off. If you're thinking "instant cash," then this isn't the place for you. Like anything you do to earn money, it takes effort. What kept me from falling for all the scams was telling myself, if this plan is as easy as they say it is, then why didn't it catch on like fire and why isn't everyone doing it? People can make money in a short time if they are computer savvy and diligent, but it usually takes 2 to 3 months to see some results.

I hope I have helped you think of some of the things to consider with these 5 reasons not to buy Wealthy Affiliate before diving into Internet Marketing. It can be both a challenging and fulfilling ride. Oh, one other possible negative--If you're married your spouse may be wondering why you spend so much time on the computer chasing that wacky idea you have! Not so wacky when the dough rolls in!
