Fellow Wii users as I surf the net and visit forum after forum I am amazed on the amount of questions there are regarding Wii Homebrew. Could this be because it’s a relative new kid on the block or is it because there has been such a big growth in Wii sales over the Christmas period? Or is it the financial meltdown that everyone is experiencing that is forcing people to find cheaper alternatives for new games.

Be that as it may – INFORMATION HUNGRY FOLKS I have decided to give you a basic introduction to Wii Homebrew.

Wii Homebrew is software that you download from the net and install on your Wii Console. This is completely Legal Software and will not void the warranty on your Wii. The reason for this is that it is software and not a mod chip (peace of hardware) that you need to install.

How will Wii Homebrew benefit me?

It will enable you to unlock your Nintendo Wii Console to run the Homebrew channel. It also enables your Nintendo Wii Console to play DVD movies and you can also Import and Backup Games.

Certain Homebrew applications called Emulators will give you an opportunity to play classic games from retro consoles such as N64, SNES, Sega Genesis and many more.

The best part of Homebrew is that you can now backup or copy your games onto another disc. This will then protect your original discs from being damaged. We all know how kids have the tendency to scratch the disc without realizing the consequence.

So to recap how you will benefit from Wii Homebrew:

Play Backup Games.
Play Homebrew Applications.
Play N64, SNES, NES, Sega Genesis Games, and games from other consoles.
Play Region Locked Games, this means you can finally play Imported Games.
Play DVD Movies and Mp3 Songs.

How to go about installing Wii Homebrew

Simply download the Homebrew installer product, then follow the easy instructions that they provide. And that’s all! You’ll be running the Homebrew application on your unlocked Wii in no time!

Now you may be saying to your self”if it only was that easy”, well if you don’t believe me perhaps you will believe these people…

John - California, USA
"Hi Guys, I was looking for something SAFE to unlock my WII with and I came across your site. I downloaded your product and followed your instructions, so easy! Now I’m happily playing my import games again, not to mention DVD’s! Thanks again.

Michael - Miami, USA
"I thought that the only way to play Homebrew games on my WII was to perform a risky hardware modification. But, your Homebrew installer guide helped me do it easily and safely, your movie downloads are great!"

Jennifer - Bournemouth, UK
"Hello, when our family bought the WII we were a little disappointed that we couldn’t play certain games (which we had) and DVD’s on it. Having used your Homebrew installer product I am happy to say that’s no longer a problem!"

This is the easiest guide out there on how to install homebrew. Follow the instructions and you will get it installed in 30 min or less. If it takes any longer you must really be stupid and im stupid. Am I?
John - Oregon, USA

"Hi guys, i must say that i found a lot of use for your Homebrew installer product. After downloading it (your site certainly looked the business!), I found the instructions straightforward"
Louise - London, UK

"My kids wanted to play their downloaded games and DVD’s but couldn’t, as the Wii doesn’t allow this. Having bought Homebrew installer I immediately put it to use and it worked great!"
Homebrew, the Legal way of Unlocking, Backing up and Importing Legacy Games, onto your Nintendo Wii!
