MLM Training - Getting Started in Your Network Marketing Business

You just signed up with a great MLM or maybe you are getting ready to whip out your credit card and jump on board the latest greatest business opportunity.

After all the hype and excitement, a reality sets in. What do I do to get my home business off the ground and start bringing in prospects?

If you are like most newcomers to MLM you are probably receiving training from your sponsor to immediately get rolling calling everyone you know and start spewing out everything you know about this great opportunity. Call all your family members and get them on board!

The reality is that most people you know could care less about your new venture and if you start pumping them with your sales pitch you will run into a wall.

Now there is nothing wrong with introducing your opportunity to friends and family but do it with professionalism and restraint. One way to do it is to send an email about your opportunity and ask them for their opinion. Tell them you respect their opinion and you want some feedback. Leave it at that.

Now it is time to grow your business the right way. This is where the right MLM training is so important. Let's talk about a concept called attraction marketing. Attraction Marketing is the strategy where you create an internet presence to attract people to you. This goes totally against what the old schoolers are still teaching newcomers.

The question you must ask yourself is do you want to chase people, or do you want people chasing you? A person that enters your lead funnel is already interested in what you are offering. They came to you for information. Compare that to cold calling people from a lead list you bought that have never heard of you and quite frankly did not want your call.

When you get first get started with your MLM home business you must arm yourself with the proper training tools to help you create a marketing funnel. It usually starts with a capture page and then you must drive people to that page in order to generate leads.

How fast you progress depends on you! You must understand success in mlm marketing comes down to the speed at which you apply what you learn. Many people take months just to understand the basic marketing principles!

How much time are you willing to spend learning the different techniques and are you willing to apply what you learn as you move forward. Don't spend 3 months learning and no time applying. You must be willing to apply what you learn immediately.

Take action now and don't worry about what you don't know yet!

People want to work with people who they believe can show them the right path to success! So while you're building your credibility, make sure you understand the basics. People buy from people. Having a your own web page is very professional. However, until you get to that point use your company
website effectively but do not rely on it to do your selling.

To get started, learn how to write and publish articles, record youtube videos, and get involved in the different marketing forums out there. You can learn a lot from the forums.

How to get people to want to do business with you. You must know what people really care about in mlm. If you are being trained old school you will be instructed to start pitching your product and mlm company. This is a major turn off for most people.

Understand this one important principle. People join a particular mlm opportunity because of the person they are dealing with. They feel confident that you can help them solve their problem. Ask questions and listen. You must know what peoples basic issues are. Here are some tips on how to talk with people when they respond:

1. What is attracting them to the mlm home business model. (time and money are big ones here)

2. What are they looking to accomplish working from home? How much money do they hope to earn, short term and long term.

3. How soon do they want to change their life? This allows you to set the pace and get them rolling right now.

4. Ask them to do something for you. Tell them to write down 5 things they would like to achieve working from home and how they want to achieve them. Ask them to write down what they thik your mlm can do to help them. Set a callback appointment within the next 2 days.

5. Call back next day find out what they came up with and make a decision. If they did nothing they are probably not as serious about improving their life as they say they are. Remember, you want to attract and sign up doers not talkers. If you have a solution to their problem, sign them up. If you do not, cut them loose.

And lastly, become a student of attraction marketing. Learn about email autoresponders, hone your phone skills, and prepare to move forward from day one. The faster you learn and apply what you learn, the faster you will start generating more leads. If you do not have time to build capture pages or build a website find and pay someone to do it for you. Remember, you are in the business of getting things done!

In closing, remember that the mlm training you receive should be geared towards attraction marketing and more importantly take control of your home business and become a leader that people can't wait to follow.
