Eating right made simple is your guide to healthy eating at home, work, and out on the town at restaurants. Try these ideas to eating right made simple.

Breakfast

Start your day off with some simple nutrition and lose weight by eating right. Eating breakfast, it’s the meal that gets you going. I like apples because they’re easy to slice up in the morning and I can take them with me to eat on my way to work. I usually eat two sometime three apples in the morning and they’re a great source of fiber. Did you know that just one apple has five grams of fiber? Sure does! That’s supplying me with 20 percent of my daily fiber and it’s an easy to prep whole food too.

Breakfast at Work

Once I’m at work and I’ve had my apples on the way in. I like to open my orange slices I prepared the night before. See eating right made simple is just that, simple. Plus, you can lose weight by eating right. Change it up from time to time too. Sometimes I bring grapes, bananas, or blackberries. Whatever I bring it has to be easy to prep and made for travel in my brown paper lunch bag.

Forget the Soda

Drink freshly squeezed juice. I purchased a juice machine to make juicing easy. Then I take the left over pulp to make snacks for my lunch. Sometimes I make muffins and top them with nuts. So, you see eating right made simple can be done by anyone. Lose weight by eating right and have fun doing it too.

Make it Accessible

Wouldn’t it be easier to eat something if it was right in front of you? An easy way to make fruits and vegetables more accessible to you is to make sure you buy them. That makes sense, right? So when you go grocery shopping, hit the produce section first.

Do You Like Salsa

Try this out this tasty dip. Take one red, green, and yellow bell pepper. Next, two jalapeno peppers and two roma tomatoes. Now put them in a frying pan without oil. Medium heat and roast them for a few minutes. Now, chop them up and mix together. Now you have an eating right made simple dish that your friends will enjoy.

Keep the Meat and Potato

If you like to eat meat, there’s no reason you have to give it up. Just choose the leanest cuts of beef round, loin, sirloin, pork loin chops, turkey, chicken, and roasts. All cuts with the name "loin" or "round" are lean. And if you cook it yourself, trim all visible fat and drain the grease after cooking. Yes, you can lose weight by eating right. Also limit fried foods. If you’re like me and like fried foods try limiting them to once or twice a month. When frying use olive oil instead of other types of oil. Eating right made simple doesn’t mean not eating the foods you like. It just means that you have to use moderation as your guide. Substitute a baked potato for French fries. Rice instead of a potato is good once in a while too.

Snack Are Ok

Eating right made simple has snacks too. Lose weight by eating right and don’t deny yourself of snacks. People like to eat snacks and they satisfy our sweet and salt cravings. Let’s face it, crunchy food is fun. So why not make your own healthy snacks. I like quick and easy-to-grab foods in those little snack bags or I’ll put them into little containers. Try vegetables like celery sticks, cucumber wedges, and cherry tomatoes.

Dinner Time

Whenever possible you should have dinner at least two hours or more before bedtime. If you’re like most people, no matter how much you’ve eaten at dinner, there’s always room for desserts and sweets. So, if you remember these eating right made simple tips, you can eat desserts too.

• Cut down on your portion size during dinner

• Substitute low-fat or fat-free baked goods, cookies, and ice cream

• Eat your dessert slowly taking time to really enjoy it

• Choose fruit, it tastes great, its filling, and provides your body with energy

One word of caution: just because something is fat free or low fat doesn’t mean you can eat as much as you want. Many low-fat or nonfat foods are also high in calories. Remember eating right made simple mean eating everything in moderation.
