There are thousands of beginners marketing online and most are seeing little to no results for their efforts. It has been said that ten percent of the online marketers are making ninety percent of the money. That is a pretty sad situation if you are in the ninety percent group making ten percent of the bank. With any product you promote as an affiliate, you get an affiliate link to use in your articles, ppc campaigns, and any other marketing method you decide to implement. You know what? Affiliate links are ugly, they can be hijacked and they even turn off the buying public. But the biggest problem is that in more and more marketing venues affiliate links are not being accepted. One of the top article submission sites, EzineArticles and even Google Adwords has banned affiliate links.

To get around this beginners marketing are being told that you need to have your own website or landing page and put your affiliate links there. I just read the TOS at EzineArticles and that is exactly what they suggest. Most self proclaimed marketing Gurus, groups, forums and articles on the subject also promote this solution to marketing beginners.

Since it is hard work and takes time to get websites and landers to rank in the search engines, beginners marketing are flocking to sites like Squidoo and Hubpages to piggy back of of their high page ranks in a hopes to get traffic. This comes at a high cost to the beginner marketing because he no longer has complete control of the site and tons of other ads are placed on their page. Referrals have many distractions to lead him off in some other direction and even on the best of pages you will lose better than half of them. To many exit points. Beginners marketing are being bled dry!

Here is how a marketing beginner can fight back. This is something that the established Gurus wont tell you. Pick a product. We will call it ProductA. It's sales page resides at ProductA.com. Now this merchant has spent thousands on development and testing to get the ProductA's sales page to be a high converting power house. Do you think you can do any better with a landing page that is bleeding to death like the ones above? I seriously doubt it.

Register a domain with the product's name and a call to action in it. Make sure to get a dot com because every one has been trained to remember that extension. For ProductA we could register one of the following or something similar.

GetProductA.com
BuyProductA.com
JoinProductA.com
Get-ProductA.com
Buy-ProductA.com
Join-ProductA.com

Now have that domain forwarded to your affiliate link. Enable masking and edit the description, keywords and title tags to match your domain name. This is a service provided for free. Anyone using your domain will end up on that high converting sales page and it will retain your address and title tab. You just hijacked that power house of a sales page and it is perfectly legal.
