The snow is now a melted memory. The first glimpse of sunshine and the carpets of golden aconites set in motion the onset of spring.

The sledges are banished to the garden shed, and the thermals hung out to dry. Thoughts turn to gardening and being able to enjoy the outdoors. (Without the risk of getting frostbite!)

Garden centres have wheeled out their snapshot displays of what summer in your garden could look like. Hold on, we’ve still got spring to get through! Talk about jumping the gun. Yes, those colossal barbecues look impressive, and go perfectly with that eight seated patio set, complete with mechanised parasol! You would love it all, if only they supplied a garden too, big enough to justify them!

But hey, let us enjoy spring first! Grab your gardening gloves, and get outside! What are you waiting for? Those bulbs and bedding plants won’t plant themselves!

What’s that? You can’t find your garden gadgets? It’s ok; don’t worry about having to make a trip out to the shops. Just stay right where you are. Findmeagift.com has a Pretty useful garden kit, with two options to choose from! Trowel and fork or a secateurs set, perfect for the lady of the house, so no excuses in helping out in the garden! They would make a lovely gift to, for any of your female gardening enthusiast friends or relatives! Just so the man of the house doesn’t feel left out, they do a garden kneeling mat, aptly named “Dad the weed Slayer”! An early Fathers Day present perhaps?!

If you are lacking a garden but still what to enjoy the splendours of spring, you can! You can get a garden now in a pocket, can you believe that, I kid you not! Pocket gardens; come complete with seeds and soil. How cute is that, plant your own mini sunflower or organic basil, just add water, oh and don’t forget that all important added ingredient of some tender loving care! Perfect for giving as gifts too, with a “Thank You - Daisy” and a “Happy Birthday – Gerbera”.

But what if your fingers are not green and you are more of an observational gardener? Do you love to amble around gardens, taking note of all the flowers and shrubs? If so, then how about spending a day doing just that? To make it even more special, you could do it in the presence of a renowned gardener. Indulge yourselves with a “Garden Lunch & Tour for Two” gift experience and join Susan Cunliffe-Lister at Swinton Park. It would make a fabulous anniversary or retirement gift too! In fact for anyone who loves to spend time in the garden!

However if you just want the scent and glory of spring indoors, without getting backache or mud under your fingernails, then why not order “spring-time”, a beautiful fragrant bouquet of fresh flowers, with a resplendent mix of Iris Narcissi, tulips, freesia and of course anenomies.

With next day delivery available, findmeagift.com has flowers for all occasions. If you are sending them as a present to someone, then why not add another gift to send with them? So quick and convenient too!

So let’s hope we have seen the last of the snow. So we can start to look forward to the start of spring, the brighter days and longer evenings. You could even be tempted to have another look at one of those barbeques!
