Is your PC slow to boot? The easiest way to solve this problem is to keep your entire system clean and protected from every harmful threat that awaits your computers. But wait, the first thing to ensure clean and protected PC is to start digging for dirt and trash from your computers, and the common places for these two unwanted stuff in your PCs is the Windows registry, the Recycle Bin and even your temporary internet files. If you are planning to make your way all by yourself, do not fear about breaking anything-here are the basic steps that will guide you in solving your problem:

Empty your Recycle Bin, and clear the cache. These two places are the usual dirt bins for unwanted trash that you get in browsing stuffs in the internet, which may leave cookies that could actually harm your computer. Ever heard of spyware which makes your PC slow to boot? These are computer programs that silently collect and distribute user information and even personal identity which could be delivered to black hat hackers. If you are trying to get rid of any of these harmful stuffs, be careful in clicking anything. Better yet, make it a habit to clear your history files each time you log out. Depending on the type of browser that you are using, there are web browsers that offer this feature of automatically deleting saved passwords, downloaded files, search bar entries and even e-mail addresses so that everything will be cleared the moment the user signs out. Enable this feature to solve your problem with unwanted trash that makes your PC slow to boot.

Change your startup settings. You should be extra careful on this step, because you might accidentally disable important processes that will make your PC slow to boot, or leave it unusable and extra sluggish because of missing processes that should regularly work with the essential ones at Windows. In checking startup items, it is very important to keep an eye on suspicious executable files that may be loitering in your startup entries. These are usually spyware which silently run in the background, thereby eating up a big portion of your RAM, which makes your PC slow to boot and even slower for the processes to load.

Check your registry protection. The only way to keep your computer protected is to keep the most sensitive part of your system totally guarded against virus attacks. This place is none other than the Windows Registry, where the essential system files are stored. If these data are corrupted, everything else will break down. Therefore, you should employ the best registry program in order to keep your system protected from any of these harmful threats that will make your computer vulnerable to viruses and spyware. Keep in mind that registry files are very prone to corruption and alteration, and a single virus, when left untreated even for a short period of time, can easily corrupt and multiply in your registry, and that is certainly something that would have not happened if you have only installed the best registry program as soon as you can.
