The responsibilities of careers, families, and lifestyles demands that people over exert themselves and expend an exuberant amount of energy. Without the proper amount of energy, people can become fatigued, be easily distracted, and have low motivation. This may lead to feelings of stress, anxiety, desperation, and even depression.

The key to avoiding a lack of energy is eat a well balanced diet, exercise often, and get plenty of rest. However, sometimes achieving this balance is impossible due to genetics or a chaotic way of life. Complementing your diet with natural herbal energy supplements can help to get your life flow back in balance.

There are several types of natural and herbal remedies that can give you an energy boost that have been confirmed by early research. Some of these include primrose oil, magnesium, and ribose. Still, there are other supplements that are available that are as effective which have not been explored as closely.

Fish oils are a great start for a health heart and energy boost. There has been considerable research that shows eating fish several times a week can improve cardiovascular health. This is because of the omega-3 fatty acids. However, several people do not eat enough fish either because of the taste and texture or the fear of contaminants, such as mercury.

However, there are fish oil capsules which are available that can give you the recommended daily amount of omega-3s. This leads to better cardiovascular output and a health heart, which leads to better blood pressure and lower triglycerides. Ultimate, this helps you feel better and gives you more energy. This is not a quick power boost, but a type of supplement that should be taken on a regular basis. The change you will feel will be gradual but unmistakable.

Omega-3 fatty acids are not the only important type of fatty acids. There is also Linoleic acid (LA), Gamma-Linolenic acid (GLA), and polyunsaturated fatty acids. These important components of a healthy diet are necessary for growth and maintaining healthy cells. These also provide energy as well as help regulate body temperature, and protect nerves and tissues.

A natural supplement that is rich in LA and GKA is Primrose Oil. In addition to the benefits of the fatty acids, Primrose Oil also has an anti-oxidant affect, which prevents damage to your cells from free-radicals. These free radicals can cause cardiovascular disease and cancer. They can even speed advancement of diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

Magnesium is a natural mineral that is found in our bodies and in our diets. It is important for natural cellular function as well. A study revealed that people who have low magnesium levels used more oxygen during exercise. Their heart rate also increases to compensate for the lack of oxygen and magnesium. It is important to note, however, that too much magnesium can cause nausea, vomiting, low blood pressure (too low is not good), and even confusion.

Ribose is a natural sugar found in the body that is derived from glucose. Your body contains both deoxyribose (in DNA) and ribose (in RNA). Your body is aided by this supplement by decreasing the amount of fatigue you feel after exercise. This is believed to happen because the ribose speeds up how fast your cell tissues recover from the exertion.

Natural herbal supplements to enhance energy can be a valuable component of a health lifestyle. It is important to understand, however, that ingestion of any type of supplement has a real effect on your body and can interact with medications and medical diagnosis.
