Automated Trackback (back-link) Submitters. Don't use these! They sound good, even sound great. However, they can ultimately lead to your website being banned as a spammer! You may get results from these when you first start using them. That's great, except you may then get slammed.

These submission services submit to any site that they find that have your keyword buried in them. Unfortunately, sites like porn sites and such have some crafty marketers that find high use keywords from other niches and bury them in their sites. Having links back from such non-related sites will actually lower your rankings.

Once again, if your goal is instant gratification followed by demise, then use these services. Otherwise, do not use automated trackback submitters!

Auto Content Generators. If you are just getting started in any niche online, you need a blog. As you develop your blog, you will undoubtedly come across auto content generators for your blogs. This will sound so great to you, you will have to try it.

I certainly did, and it nearly killed my blog. Your primary business blog needs to be full of original content! I ran auto content for a while, even focused on only 3 keyword phrases. I couldn't find my blog anywhere in the rankings.

I stopped using it, and now, slowly but surely, my blog has moved forward in the rankings in a big way. How I did this is another story. But the bottom line is, auto content for your blog will not increase targeted website traffic, nor will it make you any profit bearing customers. Your customers want to hear from you.

So if real, hungry, eager targeted website traffic customers is what you are looking for - and I am sure it is - follow this simple advise. Do not do these three things, and keep your business growing. To increase targeted website traffic requires you create real value for your customers. Real value comes from you.
