How to Recession Proof Your Company With Internet Marketing

Imagine your business running soomthly growing by the month seemingly completely unaware of the worst recession in history. With internet marketing you can reach humdreds of thousands to millions of prospective customers everyday 24/7, 365 days a year. Instead placing ads in the written media, TV or even radio. These old stand bys reach a limited amount of potential customers. How is it possible that some businesses are thriving, while others are struggling just to keep the doors open?

With internet marketing your company name is out their everyday. Where advertising in a newpaper you may runn a ad once a week, if you can afford it, or twice a month. The rest of the time your name isn't out there. Magazine advertising is even worse most magazines come out once a month. Both of these methods are costly and unrealiable.

1) You must have a website. If you are reading this I am assuming you already have one so we can skip on how to set one up.

2.) Master the strategy of using Keywords to get your website visible on the first pages of Google, Yahoo and the hundreds of Search Engines online.

3.) The internet marketing strategy that gets the most bang for your money is PPC(Pay Per Click) Advertising on Google or other Search Engines. Depending on your budget you can get 500 or more clicks on your website per day with a conversion rate of 5% to !0% that will be profit in your pocket without relying on the old stand by method. Right now Google is the best Search Engine for PPC Advertising.

With a conversion rate of 5% to !0% that is 25 to 50 sales a day or more depending on your budget. Internet marketing can save you thousands while getting your business more exposure if your keyword strategy is customized for your website.

PPC Advertising is the advertisements you see on the right hand side of each page of a Search Engine. For example, when a potential customer is searching online for a particular item, they will type in keywords that pertain to the item they are searching for. If that item is on your website, your PPC Advertisement will pop up on the right hand side of the page. As I said before, pending your keywords you have listed and the price you are willing to Pay Per Click, will determind which page your advertisement pops up.

Some people will just search the first few pages of Google or any other Search Engine becausae they do not want to do the real "Data Mining" for a item. Others will go through 50 pages just look over different websites that pop-up. Then if the websites that show up on Google are not what your potential customer is looking for they see your ad to the right and click on your ad and you have a customer. If your ad appears on the page that the person is reviewing they do not click on your ad, you do not get charge for your ad being displayed. You only get charged when a customer clicks on your ad so Pay Per Click.

Pay Per Click Advertising is one of many internet marketing tools that can recession proof your business. I will go into the other internet marketing methods in other articles.
