During your consultation with the surgeon, you are in the final phase of the decision process, but you are also interviewing him for the job. Don't just ask questions about the procedure, but ask about him as well.

On his office wall there should be a certificate from the American Board of Plastic Surgery that shows he is board certified. If not, ask him or research it on the Internet. Ask about his experience with breast implants and other augmentation procedures. Look at his portfolio and ask for references.

You have made your decision about the surgery, now you have to decide if you are comfortable with this surgeon performing the procedure. If you are thoughtful in the process, you can be confident you are making the right decision. The only thing you have to do now is to get ready for the new you that will emerge after the procedure.
