Harry J. Andersohn

Recently, I had a golf weekend planned with a good friend. The trip was almost ruined. In fact, the thought of this trip being ruined really threw me for a loop, as I needed a bit of a break. I do not know how my friend managed to do it, but he almost destroyed our entire trip. The guy is completely absent-minded, and forgot that he had an important job that he had left uncompleted back at work.

If you read on, I will explain why I am such a big fan of this software. Of course, it saved my golf trip, so Remote PC Access Software endeared itself to me right off the bat.

My friend even received a very irritated voice mail from his boss while we were out eating dinner.  He played the voicemail for me, and it was not pretty.  As it turns out, he dodged a major bullet as he had Remote PC Access Software in the form of GoToMyPC.

I relayed this story to my brother-in-law, who is trying to start his own graphics design company.  He is a really talented artist, but like most of us, spends his days working for someone else. He has been dreaming of starting his own design firm with other graphic artists that he has known for years.

For about the past year, he has been working with these guys, bit by bit, to try and get their company off the ground.  They have been emailing around concepts and work, but none of them are exactly organized.  After telling him the story about what happened on my golfing trip, it suddenly occurred to me that he should try using Remote PC Access Software also.

Turns out it was a better idea than I thought. My brother-in-law has been working with people who live in different cities.  One of his business partners had taken a job in Madrid, Spain, so things were a bit complicated in terms of these guys actually getting work done. Because things were moving slowly, it was taking way too much time getting their graphics Design Company off the ground.

Here is what they ended up doing.  Each of them signed up for a GoToMyPC account. In fact, I sent them all my information about free 30-day trial information to get started. I will share that with you as well at the end of this article.

With Remote PC Access Software, they could go in and look at each other’s design concepts without having to receive emails or use a file-uploading site.  My brother-in-law said that this worked really well, as he was able to quickly and easily look through tons of different concepts ranging from potential client samples, to logo idea and even website design concepts.  Everyone was able to look at everyone else's work and ideas in a real fast and easy fashion.

To make a long story short my brother-in-law was really, really happy that I pointed him in this direction.  He was wondering why on earth it had not tried it sooner.  They are moving along on getting their design firm off the ground and from what he is telling me a lot of the work that they are doing is centered on using the Remote PC Access Software and GoToMyPC.

If you are unfamiliar with Remote PC Access Software, I would say give it a try. It works very well and seems suited for many different applications. Plus you don’t have to even be good with computers, as it is up and running in about 15 minutes or less.
