Obesity has become a major problem in this country. The health care system has become bogged down because so many people need treatment for problems associated with being overweight. On the advice of their doctor's, many people are searching for ways to get in shape. Now may be the perfect time market your boot camp.

Fitness boot camps seem to be the new rage. There are a lot of them out there so it is important for you to find a way to steer potential clients towards yours. Advertising is the best way to attract new clientèle. Offering a service that pleases them will ensure that they return. Those that leave happy are also likely to tell their friends about their pleasant experience. This will help you create new clients.

When looking to begin advertising it is important to focus on making it cost effective. Attracting people to your business can cost a great deal. You must make sure that you spend your dollars where they will do the most good. In other words, it is better to place your ads in health food stores than in ice cream shops.

As you camp gets more successful you will want to invest in radio or TV spots. Again, it is important to place your ads in time slots that are most often watched by potential clients. The TV show "The Biggest Loser" would be an excellent choice, well worth the cost of a prime time ad. Car magnets or bumper stickers are a cheaper choice but be selective about what cars they are on. Make sure the drivers of the cars are health conscious.

Well advertised discounts are also a great way to drum up new business. If there are large businesses nearby it might be wise to offer them discounts for their employees. This can be a beneficial arrangement for both you and the company. Group discounts also work well. This is a good way to get a large number of clients all at once. It may also encourage those who would never consider doing such a thing by themselves to join with their friends.

Put the words "Money Back Guarantee" on all of your advertising. Someone who is hesitant to try your camp may be reassured by this. If they believe that their money will be refunded if they are not completely satisfied they are more likely to give it a try. This technique will fail miserably however if you do not first ensure that your customers leave your camp satisfied.

This brings us to a very important point, no marketing strategy will make your camp successful if you do not offer a quality service. Anyone who leaves your camp unimpressed with its program will tell everyone who will listen. This kind of bad word of mouth can be almost impossible to overcome.

Successfully marketing your fitness boot camp is the only way to ensure a large client base. Do some research, find out who your potential clients are.
