The second thing to carefully inspect is the contents of the notice of foreclosure that has been issued to you. If this is the first time that you are receiving a foreclosure notice from the creditor or financial institution, it should provide you information with regards to the schedule of your Order Authorizing Sale hearing. As the borrower and current owner of the property, it is your legal right to first go through the process of a hearing in order to be given a fair decision with regards to your foreclosure situation. The notice should never, by any means, advise you of the sale of the property unless this happens and you have been properly informed by a public trustee of the hearing.
