Generally, investors buying property abroad have went for the tried and already tested markets, such as Spain, France and Italy, however more people are nowadays looking to more distant destinations as possible markets for investing in a property. Partly this is due to an increase in international flight routes and reduced air fares. Destinations like Brazil are rapidly gaining in popularity for property investors.

For those looking to invest in property, Brazil makes a perfect destination, as this captivating country increases in popularity it is rapidly becoming a favourite for second-homers, tourists, retirees, and investors. This new and promising market has a steady economy, low asking prices for property and a rising tourist market. Investing in real estate and property in Brazil would give an investor good returns in many ways.

Recent years have seen an increase in the number of new developments being built in the country, both on the coastal regions and inland. The country has a lot of opportunities to offer, and for people searching for a buy-to-let investment or luxury holiday home, Brazil can provide many benefits. Flights to Brazil are cheaper then ever before and flight times shorter and numerous airlines now focus on offering inexpensive airfares to Brazil.

Brazil is acknowledged as a promising new destination for property investors; early investors are already at this point seeing high returns. The growth potential for Brazil property is enormous, in some of the more popular coastal locations 20% growth per annum is more or less standard. You can still find affordable luxury properties in Brazil and it is this factor as well as the remarkably high figures that can be gained that have attracted the attention of many investors.

In 2007 over 9 million visitors arrived in Brazil, this number increases each year. This rise in tourism has prompted economic growth and led to significant improvements in the country’s infrastructure. Over the past few years property market has caught a lot of interest from potential property investors due to its ability to provide buyers with important essentials such as low property price, a rising tourism market and an optimism in the country’s economy.

Brazil is an exotic destination with beautiful beaches, vibrant cities and huge rainforests. The cities of Brasilia, Salvador, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are truly amazing; with a population made up of different ethnic backgrounds there is a diverse culture and history. Brazilians are known to be welcoming and friendly and English is widely spoken in the tourist-populated areas. Your money can go a long way in Brazil as the Acost of living is low in comparison to America and European countries.

Brazil has a tropical climate and amazing coastline with over 7,000 km of untouched beaches. Recently, a number of high quality developments have been announced in some of the most fashionable resorts including the areas of Cabo Sao Roque, Fontainha Beach and Praia Luxuosa. Its promising economic climate has put Brazil up there amongst the fastest growing and most sought-after worldwide property locations, whilst returns on investment from Brazilian real estate are currently amongst the highest in the world.

Bahia is located on Brazil’s north east coast and the beaches here are truly remarkable, their pristine white sand and blue waters make them one of the more popular areas for visitors and recently this area has experienced a rise in development projects. Sao Paulo is on the threshold of a property boom as it becomes acknowledged as a city that is hard-working and gains attractiveness as foreign investors realize its potential for relocation. Real estate professionals also forecast that Rio, already a fashionable holiday destination, will experience a substantial growth in its development.

As it becomes easier to reach far flung destinations like Brazil with direct flights and inexpensive fares, its popularity as a viable holiday destination and promising investment climbs. As Brazil becomes an easy option, the rise in tourism revenue is expected to continue in the future. If you are planning on investing in property abroad, property in Brazil should be worth looking into.
