Now you will be diverted back to the list of all the hardware in your computer. This time, click on 'Universal Serial Bus controllers' and right-click on 'USB Root hub.' When you have already decided on bypassing network adapter of Xbox Live and just opted for the wireless adapter, this is where you will go to enable your device.

Now that you have found out that it is actually possible to connect to the Internet even after bypassing network adapter of Xbox Live, it is solely up to you to choose whichever you think will be best for you and everyone else in your home.
