Imagine if a family member was to be a victim of sexual assault, a violent crime, or fooled by scam artists. Criminals can blend right in with society and can appear nice, thoughtful, normal people, until the crime has been committed and it’s too late for everyone.

These people harm children, and they might be watching if you are not home. They can be charming and docile, until the opportunity for them to take advantage of you and your family presents itself.

It is very likely that criminals are repeat offenders. These thieves and cons that do get caught leave records for online databases to sniff out, so names, pictures and full contact information will be available to anyone who’s looking.
You can acquire a full criminal history, arrest records, court appearances, and even traffic violations of mostly anyone in the country by performing a background check. You will most likely be able to identify the person in question since it is required by law to have a mug shot taken when a person is arrested.

Even if multiple John Doe’s come up on a name search from a state or city database, you’ll know which record belongs to the person you want checked. This is because the address, picture, and other identifying information can be matched with the name in question.

Run a Background Check and Know Which of your Neighbors Has a Criminal Record

If only you would stop to notice, there may be people in your neighborhood that seem suspicious. They may come home at odd hours, and their homes locked down tight, blinds shut all day long, yet they seem oddly personable. According to statistics, there are at least two people in your streets that will commit a crime before the year is out, be it an act of violence, or a sexual offense; maybe a neighbor of yours will get arrested for dealing drugs to high school kids.

In the past, acquiring records from a background check may prove to be very expensive. Today, since most public records are now available electronically or over the Internet, you can utilize these resources to pull up a complete history of any individual that you might want to check on. You may be surprised what your neighbors are hiding inside their closets.

With the ease and convenience of doing a background search, you can also find out information about co-workers, business clients, baby sitters, and even your own family members. Doing so may be the first step to protecting your family and your business.

By simply running a name into the search programs, you can easily find pictures of the individual in question to match with the name. Complete lists of arrest records, court appearances, prison records, and so much more. You can find out everything you need before deciding if you can entrust this person with your children, your home, and your lives.
