A lot of media organizations like the Chicago Tribune, Indianapolis Star and New York Times have featured Mike Fry, the famous entrepreneur. In addition, he has also been profiled in many bestselling books, such as 'The One Minute Millionaire', by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen, and in '99 Cows - Companies That Go for the Edges', by Seth Godin. With his years of experience, his qualifications include:

* For eight years, Mike had been the writer, co-producer and the host of Happy's Place, the only live American show meant for children.
* The first gourmet flavored and fancy colored fortune cookies were invented by Mike, and he has launched the first website specifically for fortune cookies.
* QVC featured his fancy fortune cookies, where they were sold out in two-and-a-half minutes flat.
* For 2 consecutive years, his company has been listed among the 100 Indiana Growth Companies.

It seems as though Mike Fry has forever loved cookies and their flavors. Let's take a look at his relationship with the yummy fortune cookie.

In 1987, Mike came up with an idea which changed his life. While he was eating in a small Chinese restaurant in Indiana, he wondered why people were not making fortune cookies in different colors, or with the flavors of various fruits. He believed that, if made, they would taste very good. Mike was quite tired of having the same kind of fortune cookies over and over again, so much so that they began to taste like cardboard to him. So he took it upon himself to come up with different varieties of fortune cookies.

His 'Willy Wonka' kind of fortune cookies were hard to prepare. However, he got so involved with this idea that over the past fifteen years, he has devoted his life to it. His endeavor had taken him into the mystery of preparing fortune cookies as well.

In 1987, he contacted as many as eight fortune cookie companies, but none of them considered his idea to be a very good one. Ultimately, his efforts paid off, and the ninth company he contacted was willing to give his suggestions some seriousness consideration. The next two years were spent by Mike and his staff, experimenting with the taste of fortune cookies and preparing thousands of fortune cookies that not only looked bad but tasted even worse. The experience was surely a frustrating one. After thousands of experiments, they succeeded and it was a celebration of sorts, especially considering how hard they had worked for it.

From this small beginning, Mike went on to invent the first ever flavored fortune cookies, introducing them to an industry which was primarily dominated by the Chinese. Strawberry, lemon, orange, blueberry and mint were the first five flavors that he invented. However, he did not stop there. Mike went on to manufacture a whole range of flavored fortune cookies, which could be easily customized by buyers who could write in their own fortune messages.

Mike Fry has invented as many seventeen different flavors of fortune cookies since 1987, and they have been enjoyed by many companies, businesses and restaurants across the United States. His ultimate goal: to make the most wonderful fortune cookies ever available in the market.
