Signs That Your Ex Wants To Get Back Together

Winning back an ex after being dumped can often be tough, especially if you're not sure why the relationship ended. To get back your exboyfriend you'll need to act quickly to increase your chances of fixing the breakup, but you'll also need to recognize the signs that your ex wants to get back together.

Many of the signs given off by an exboyfriend will be tailored just for you. He wants you to see these, and he's testing out how you feel about giving your relationship another shot. Other times though, the signals put off by an ex when they want to get back together might be a little more subtle. The indications below are all good signs that your ex is missing and thinking about you, and/or wants to rekindle your romance.

* Your Ex Keeps In Touch With You - If your ex is no longer interested in dating you, chances are they'll break all contact. It might not happen immediately (they're letting you off easy) but it will happen. But an ex boyfriend that still stays in contact with you? He's not yet over your relationship. Most likely, he's also keeping you around in case he changes his mind. An ex that stays in touch with you is always a good sign, and the more he initiates contact the better.

* He Talks Openly About His Situation - The first thing a guy will do when he starts dating someone else is clam up when it comes to his exgirlfriend. If your ex is still talking about his daily life and schedule with you as if it's no big deal, it means he hasn't moved on yet. This is a good indication that he's not dating anyone else, and he wants you to know this (so you don't start dating anyone else). Examine his words carefully and see if he's overly descriptive of his life, or lack of love-life.

* Your Ex Asks If You're Dating Someone New - Making your ex jealous isn't hard, all you need to do is show interest in someone else. This isn't something I'd recommend, especially if you want to get your ex boyfriend back. What I'm saying is that if your ex is always asking about your current romantic situation? He's totally not finished with you yet. No guy wants to hear his exgirlfriend is dating someone new... even if he has someone, he's going to be jealous about it. Asking you about your love life is a sign he still cares.

* Your Ex Constantly Brings Up The Past - Anytime he talks about your past relationship, it's a tremendous sign that your ex misses you. He'll probably mention the good times, and when he does you should play it up that you had the same great times that he did. Winning back your boyfriend is all about keeping the conversation comfortable, and if he feels you relate to him on what you're saying it makes the transition back into dating each other again a lot easier on him.

* He Re-Hashes Your Break Up - While you may think this is a bad sign, it's actually a good one. Any time your ex brings up the reasons you broke up, he's trying to rationalize and rectify those issues in his own mind. Getting past the break up is what helps him consider being with you again, because once you've both reconciled the fighting and issues... and put the past behind you... all that's left is a future together. Tread carefully when your ex talks about these things, but encourage progress. If you want to win your ex back, slow is the way to go here.

* Your Ex is Suddenly Nice To You - Any time there's a major behavior change in your ex's life, something big has happened. If these changes involve him being nice, affectionate, appreciative, or emotional toward you, odds are he's reconsidering the break up. He's also trying to impress you, the way he did when you first started dating. It's a good indication your ex may be trying to win you back, and you should encourage these behaviors with some of your own.
