Marcus T. Anthony

Not long after completing my doctorate, while living in China, I was involved in a negotiation regarding a university job with one of Taiwan's best universities. Via email, the dean of the department was clarifying what subjects I would be able to teach. Something didn't feel right about the situation, so I did a Quick Check. I got out a bit of paper, and drew a horizontal line across the page. I put out a question to the universe: "What is the energy on my accepting a position to work at this university?"

Then I ran the index finger of my left hand across the line, from left to right, measuring the energy on making the jump across the Taiwan Strait. My finger just wouldn't go anywhere much past the beginning of the line, indicating that there was no energy on my going there. This was not as I'd expected. I was excited by the prospect of working at a university, and being rewarded for all my years of hard study.

I wasn't dissuaded just yet, however. So I decided to use the Feeling Sense to double-check things. I sat down, closed my eyes and focused upon my breath, putting myself into a light trance state. Then, when I was sufficiently relaxed, I projected my energy into the campus of the Taiwanese university, feeling my future self walking about as if it was in the present moment. I was pulling the future towards me, merging my consciousness field with my possible future self in Taiwan. I immediately felt lost, disconnected, like I was not meant to be there. I felt myself wondering over and over "What am I doing here?" There was an overwhelming sense of frustration, because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I opened my eyes, knowing that it wasn't meant to be.

I then wrote down the results of my experience in my Intuitive Diary.

The next day I sent an email to the dean, thanking him for his help, but telling him I would not be able to accept any offer.

The story above is typical of the way that spiritual intuition (what I call integrated intelligence) can permit you to peer into possible and probable futures, and sense the results of decisions you are making. Here I used three of the tools of integrated intelligence - the INI Tools: the Quick Check, the Feeling Sense, and the Intuitive Diary. There are many other such tools you can use.

The Quick Check tool is very easy to use and requires virtually no time commitment. However, you might be asking how can it possibly be that a person can read the energy of a decision from a line on a page, or by "feeling" possible futures? You might argue that decisions have no intrinsic value, there is no destiny; that all desires and choices are products of the mind, and have no intrinsic value to "the universe". How then, could the universe possibly interact with a person in this way to suggest which is the best way forward?

The truth is that this relativist philosophy is a misunderstanding created by a mind that has lost its deep intuitive connection with the world and life itself. Such a mind is unable to intuit that the cosmos has an innate intelligence, and a kind of volition.

Try telling the guy eating a steel-capped Nazi boot that all values are equal. They are not. The prime value of the cosmos is love, or the integration of darkness into light. In this context any decision you make has the potential to take you closer to love, or conversely, further away. Further, in the broader context that little decision you are making takes humanity and the cosmos closer to, or further way from, love.

So, when you read energy and sense the possible futures unfolding before you, you are intuiting whether your intended decision is in line with your soul purpose, and the evolution of the cosmos. As your finger flicks across the page during the Quick Check, you are connecting with the innate integrated intelligence you were born with. All the Quick Check does is translate that intelligence into a simple technology.

The INI Tools will enable you to tap into the intuitive wisdom of integrated intelligence, and help create your Bliss. They are genuine empowerment tools because they will assist you in clarifying what you really want, avoid what you don't want, and take the right actions to get where you want to go. They will help you to relax into the wisdom of the Sage, and make wise choices in an instant.

Over time you will know which tools you feel most comfortable with, and which you prefer to use. It does take some time, however, to open the intuitive centers of the brain, so don't give up after one or two attempts with any particular tool. It takes persistence and commitment to learn skills which move you out of your comfort zone. It will take a certain amount of unlearning to develop integrated intelligence.

Integrated intelligence is within your ready grasp. Like all cognitive skills, practice is required. It may be true that some individuals have a greater propensity for the more "psychic". However it is my firm belief that all people have the potential to develop these skills. I am yet to find a person who was is unable to develop their integrated intelligence.

There was a time when I did not use any of these tools or integrated intelligence. I was totally left-brained. Then one day, at the age of twenty-six, I met an Aboriginal kadaicha woman, trained in the shamanic traditions of her people. She told me that I was "very psychic". I literally laughed out loud. I did not consider myself to be even remotely psychic. In fact I was rather skeptical that any such ability existed. Despite my skepticism I did do one thing she suggested, and that made all the difference. She told me to listen to the words of songs that came into my head, because that was how Spirit would begin to communicate with me. After a few weeks of listening, I realised that what she had said was correct. I became determined to develop my capacity for integrated intelligence, and persisted with the tools over many years.

You can do it too. The only requirement is that you want to do it badly enough, and are prepared to take a leap of faith.
