A sneeze, a cough in the hands, a doorknob or a colorful toy are all part of the “germ spreading cycle” for children. Then an eye rub or nose rub or a finger in the mouth and your child has acquired the germ. It begins a chain of events that will make your child ill and frequently makes the entire family ill.

High-traffic student / children washrooms have a less than sterling reputation because many are in a state of disrepair. Parents are concerned about the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the items that are touched by children - faucets, doorknobs and toilet flush handles. The parents know this is a haven for germs. But modern Juvenile Lavatory Systems and Children Hand Wash Fountains offer innovative solutions for student / children washrooms.

Our Juvenile Lavatory Systems and Children Hand Wash Fountains handle the washroom traffic of children quickly and economically. Sink stations can serve multiple users while providing each user with personal space. This feature conserves water and energy and requires less space. Our systems are available with electric tankless water heaters and are ADA and TAS compliant.

It is important to teach children “proper hand washing” at all ages to maintain your child’s as well as your family’s good health. It is estimated that 90% of childhood illnesses are caused by germs on children’s hands. It is also estimated that students lost approximately twenty-two million school days to common germs spread by the hands. A more modern Juvenile Lavatory System and Children Hand Wash Fountain is needed.

There are a number of things you can do to help children get into the habit of hand washing. Teaching by example is always a good idea so wash your hands with your children and supervise their progress. You can also place visual hand washing reminders at the child’s eye level. Charts near the bathroom sink with areas to be marked will also be a helpful as reminders and motivators. The Juvenile Lavatory System and Children Hand Wash Fountains should be low enough for children to reach and use. Another tip is to tell your children to sing a song during the hand washing process. Commonly used songs are "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," "Happy Birthday" or the “ABCs.” This technique of singing songs is particularly helpful with younger children who tend to rush during the hand washing process.

Our Juvenile Lavatory Systems and Children Hand Wash Fountains are now available with ndite® technology that uses photovoltaic cells to convert light to energy which powers the sensors and valves without an electrical hook-up or batteries. Our systems can serve one, two or three users at one time. There is plenty of space because the standard lavatory spacing is thirty inches, which saves space and energy. They offer a contemporary flowing design with a continuous bowl, sprayhead and end caps constructed of vandal-resistant Terreon® Solid Surface Material that is available in 24 colors. The access panel is constructed of stainless steel with a faucet style aerator. There are a variety of reliable activations including Infrared, Battery operated Infrared, Push Button Air Valve and Electronic Push Button TouchTime® Control. The systems install in 50% less time than comparable systems and the Solenoid and TMV are easily accessible. The Terreon®RE recycled solid surface is now available also. Terreon®RE is a dense solid surface material composed of polyester resin. It is resistant to chemicals, stains, burns and impact. Surface damage can be easily repaired with everyday cleansers or fine grit abrasives such as “Comet.
