Not all newlyweds want the same thing from their honeymoon and this is why setting up a honeymoon gift list is such an excellent idea. Honeymiles can be used in three different ways towards the cost of a honeymoon, so whatever plans you and your fiancé have in mind for your luxury honeymoon, there should be something here to meet your needs, however unique and different you and your fiancee's honeymoon choice may be:

Contributing to the Cost of your Honeymoon

For couples on a stricter budget, setting up a Honeymiles account allows guests to contribute towards the overall total cost of your honeymoon. You may have the perfect luxury honeymoon destination already in your mind, but the rising costs of your wedding ceremony seem to be putting your dream honeymoon farther and farther out of reach. By asking your guests to buy you Honeymoon vouchers - one Honeymile equals £10 – your friends and family can contribute to your dream honeymoon. Many couples feel that honeymoon vouchers are more personal than giving cash.

Setting up a Honeymiles account is very straight-forward. When it’s time to pay the balance all the Honeymiles that have been purchased, come off your final invoice. Guests just log on to your personal website whenever they like, buy you some Honeymiles vouchers, and leave you a personal message. All the Honeymiles that are purchased after the final invoice is paid, are collected up and refunded by cheque, or deposited straight into your bank account, as soon as your Honeymiles gift list closes.

Upgrades

You may have already decided where you want to go on your upcoming honeymoon, but by adding upgrade options to your honeymoon gift list, your guests can make your trip even more luxurious. Honeymiles allows your guests to contribute towards upgrades, from business-class plane tickets to rooms with glistening ocean views, which all help in making your honeymoon holiday a little more exclusive. You could even ask your guests to contribute towards the cost of upgrading your hire-car, and who knows, that pokey Volkswagen Polo that you and your fiancé have hired could transform itself into a sleek black Jaguar.

Buying or Contributing Towards Activities and Excursions

The most popular use of Honeymiles is as a means of allowing guests to contribute towards activities and excursions that you, and your new partner can enjoy together whilst on your honeymoon. There are a number of unique excursions and memorable experiences that Honeymiles offers in destinations all over the world. If you are honeymooning in Africa, for example, you could choose to include a ‘once in a life time’ hot air balloon ride, a catamaran cruise or even a private game drive.

Honeymooners who are looking for a more rewarding experience can choose to include the option to donate to a local charity, via their Honeymiles list, so guests can include a contribution towards a worthy case at the same time as purchasing you an exciting experience from your honeymoon gift list.
