Internet Cheating - How to Catch Your Spouse

Internet cheating has skyrocketed in recent years due to chat rooms,instant messenger,porn sites and online date sites. Your spouse can find pretty much whatever they are looking for in terms of a partner without ever leaving their home or office.

This same computer that makes online cheating easy for your partner also can be what brings them down. If your spouse gets on the computer after you go to bed at night and always seems to be getting off the computer as soon as you walk in the room you may want to check out your computer and see if your spouse is on the internet cheating.

Not all people meet the people in person that they are online cheating with. Some are content to chat and just cheat online. So the question is are you cheating by just talking to someone online. Well I think most spouses will agree it is. Especially if webcams come into play.

Your home computer is an excellent tool that you can use to prove that your spouse is cheating. Your computer may also prove to be invaluable as evidence that can be used if you have to go to court.

Check the history on the computer. This can be done in a number of ways.

One way to see the most recent sites visited is to open the Internet Explorer browser on the computer. Click on the drop down arrow next to the website address. This will reveal the most recent sites that were visited and can give you an idea if there is internet cheating going on.

But dont stop there.

The other way to find sites visited is to open the Internet Explorer browser and click on the history button/icon on the browser. If you find that there is nothing in the history and you know that your spouse has been on the internet, he has probably deleted the history and you should check the temporary files and check the recycle bin.

You can check the temporary files by clicking on “tools” then “internet options” then “settings” and “view files”. File names as well as website names that have been visited will appear. This will give you an idea of what his activity has been on the internet. It also tells you when he last visited the sites.

Pay special attention to those sites that were visited late at night, after you have gone to bed, when you were not at home. Also look for dating sites, chat rooms, and porn sites. This is where most internet cheating occurs.

If you find anything suspicious, there is a way that you can track every keystroke that is made on the computer. This can be done by attaching a device such as a keylogger to your computer or by installing spy software on your computer. Both of these will record every keystroke that is made on the computer that you can view later. You can also print this and save it as evidence of his online cheating.

This is an excellent way of not only seeing what sites he visited but exactly what he typed while visiting them. The spy software basically takes a snapshot so you can read every e-mail sent and received.

If your spouse visited a dating site, you can determine how he interacted on the site. If he sent e-mails on the computer you can read these too. You can also read the emails sent to your spouse.

The spy software and keystroke logger are both excellent devices to determine if your spouse is involved with internet cheating.
