If you are providing food then you want to find out if it has as kitchen where it can be prepared or heated up for the wedding reception. The location is important to because it needs to be easy enough for people to find it. The parking situation definitely needs to be assessed as well.

Do you have to provide your own tables and chairs or will those things be provided at that venue? When they are included that is a great deal because you can come in and organize them the way you wish. You aren’t going to have to try to rent them and have them delivered in time for you to get things set up. It is one less thing for you to have to secure prior to your wedding reception taking place.

If you are able to go there in person and look around, do so. You may notice things about a venue once you are inside of it that you like or don’t like. For example does it have a coat hanging location in the entry way for your guests? Depending on the time of year for your wedding this could be a huge factor to consider.

As you go through all of these factors as well as other personal preferences you have, some of the venues will stand out while others will get crossed off your list. Taking the time to really go over all of these aspects though will ensure you aren’t stressed out when it comes to where to have your wedding reception. That way you can take care of all of the planning details well in advance of your special day.
