You can go for a travel wallet if you are the mobile type. If you want something that's sleek and slim, then you can always go for a money clip wallet.

However, these days, it's not anymore enough to have a wallet. You must, above anything else, go for unique wallets. It's shameful and sometimes embarrassing to find yourself having the same wallet as that of your officemate's! Thus, to ensure that you will never be caught in such a situation, you must get one-of-a-kind, unique wallets.

Still, you cannot just get a weird wallet just for the heck of it. There are at least two things that you need to consider.

1. Keep functionality in mind.

Wallets need to be functional, that's a fact. Now, if you forgo functionality for design, then you might have not chosen wisely. Therefore, unique wallets must still be functional in order for them to truly serve their purpose. Otherwise, you may just be wasting your money on a useless cause.

For example, if you are more on cashless transactions, then you don't really need bulky wallets that will carry your bills and coins. What you should have is a credit card wallet. This way, you can traverse the city, the country, or even the world without much hassle.

If you constantly travel out of the country, then it might be a wise move to go for passport wallets rather than the traditional ones. This way, you can keep all your important documents together.

2. Keep your personality in mind.

More often than not, you go for unique wallets because you want to express your individuality. You want to shout to the world that no one else in the world has the same taste as you. You want to show your friends and family members that you have a stand.

In line with this, you must be sure that in going for unique wallets, you choose those that are line with your personality. You choose those that say something about you. For example, if you are all about Hollywood actors and actresses, then go for those that are inspired by them. Or, if you consider yourself to be a computer geek, then focus your search for unique wallets on those that have anything to do with computers and software.

Uniqueness in wallets could also mean appropriateness for the occasion. For instance, if you are going to a formal party, then your Hollywood-actress-inspired wallet would not be appropriate.

It's always great to own things that are unique - and this hold true to wallets as well. However, you cannot just haphazardly choose unique wallets simply because they are one-of-a-kind. You must keep in mind the couple of items mentioned above. It's the only way for you to enjoy both the uniqueness of your purse and idea of having a wallet.
