Soda usually keeps for a while so when it goes on sale during the holidays you can stock up. Around events such as the Super Bowl and most holidays stores have great sales on snack items. There are so many things that you can do, just use your imagination. If it sounds like fun to you chances are it will be a hit with your friends, just add some snack foods and a few beverages and you have an instant party. Remember that most people will appreciate the invitation even if a five course meal is not served. Do not forget to plan activities for the kids when you invite parents over. Most people would rather bring their children that have to find and pay for a babysitter. Putting together a craft basket for children to use when they are over is easy and inexpensive.
