Writing an article is one activity that cannot be avoided, most especially in school; even those who are not born writers and the ones who actually sucked in writing are forced to come up with an article. It may be anything under the sun, as long as it informs and entertains at the same time.

If you are one of those individuals whose articles are always rejected by his or her teachers or editors, then you probably need some advice that will help you in composing a write-up.

In writing an article, there are a lot of factors that must be injected. These factors are not just mere decorations but these are actually the things that make a write-up effective in the eyes of the readers.

Read on to find out the five important factors in article writing:

Reliable information - First and foremost, an article should only supply the right information to its readers. A writer has this responsibility of providing correct details. He or she must try his or her best to avoid false data. These information such as technical terms, the right spelling of proper names of people, places and product brands which are all related to the topic. That is why research is necessary.

Correct grammatical construction - Nothing irritates the teachers, editors and readers but a write-up full of grammar blunders. It is like the writer himself or herself failed to learn the structure of English language. Besides, it is really complicating if you'll be reading a work with jumbled words; it will provide you shuffled meanings too.

Clear, step by step instructions - Your articles have different readers; their age ranges from teens to professional working adults. Their ability to follow instructions also varies, that is why as a writer; make sure that the procedures you write are not vague. Keep each term in its simplest form and write each step in close details.

Sources of information - This is not just actually a factor but a rule that every writer must strictly follow. To avoid plagiarism, the writer must mention his or her source of information. If he or she has included a statement from a famous person, he or she should quote the name of the one who stated it. Do not use the information if you are unsure of its source.

Your writing style - One must include his or her personality in writing an article through his or her writing style. An individual can distinguish a writing style with the write-up's tone or mood and the way he or she starts and ends a piece of writing. This is made possible to evade the article being monotonous and boring.

Now that you have the knowledge on what to include in writing an article, then, it must be time for you to get your pen and paper and start to put these principles into practice. Just continue to write until you got each of it perfectly. These guidelines will open the doors of plenty writing opportunities for you.
