Try to work out your name for a dotcom rather than settle immediately for a dot org or dot net with the exact same name. If for example OnlineLibrary is no longer available for a dotcom, do not get an OnlineLibrary dot net, because chances are, people who will want to visit your web site will put a dot com after OnlineLibrary, and they will end up visiting the wrong site. It is still better to compromise your name a little (add to or subtract something from it) rather than settle for a dot org or dot net right away.
