Solihull caters for all who enjoy the whole shopping experience and those that have a specific need for a hobby, DIY, Business etc.

Solihull encompasses some 80,000 properties and close to 200,000 residents. At the heart we have Solihull Town Centre with the established shops surrounding Mell Square and the more recent Touchwood. Most of the traditional High street shops and stores are to found within these two areas. Mell Square has about ninety shops, including unique boutiques and restaurants. Dickens Heath is a good example of a new village that has grown in the last 10 years. It really is a self contained village with everything. Indeed some people never venture from its doorstep. Even the Medical Centre caters for minor operations!

Shirley caters for everything, traditional High Street shopping at one end, down to Car showrooms and the large retail park, plus Supermarkets as you head towards Hockley Heath. Parking is ample and free. You can park along its length then walk one side to the end cross the road and complete your circuit. If you get hungry or thirsty, you can select any cuisine that suits your pocket, time, choice.

Hockley Heath gives you shops and the Box Trees Craft Centre. Included is a bespoke kitchen Designer, Picture Framer, Interior Design, Flowers, Shoes, Crafts, Beauty Salon and much more.

Earlswood is similar with its quaint little shops. Fresh Fruit and Veg., Bridal Shop, Equine Centre, Organic Food, nice restaurant, reki and even a Maze and playground to keep the children happy.

Knowle has a wonderful High Street, with a good selection of shops offering a wide range of products and services.

Dorridge too has many shops on the doorstep of the Station, meaning public transport to here is excellent.

Meridan too has a super selection of shops.

Sometimes taking a wrong turning in the car brings you to roads containing shops you never knew existed.

In the North of the Borough you will find Chelmsley Wood shopping centre. It has everything you need at everyday low prices. Parking is free also. You will find more than 50 shops, including high street shops and top brands.

Overall Solihull and the surrounding area, contains everything you will need from Apples to Zips. You will find most centres are very close to beautiful scenery and lakes, so make a day and night of it, shop, walk, eat, enjoy, you will not be disappointed.

There are Theatres, Cinemas, Libraries, Clubs, Restaurants, Dancing, Walking, Cycling, Horse Riding and much more so make sure you visit Solihull next time you are in England.
