One of the most popular things people like to share is their personal music tastes. Uploading music to MySpace is not a difficult task. The easiest way to upload the videos you like is to use the ones on the MySpace site because they will upload easily and they are safe. The website has a huge selection to choose from, however, if you still can’t find your favorite artist or song then locate the access code that will allow you to download the song from the alternate site.

Music videos on the Internet are as plentiful as grains of sand on the beach and some of these sites will allow you to directly download to your MySpace profile. Always make sure the site allows you to do this for free because some sites require a fee to download. Be careful about what you are signing up for. Some sites make it as easy as a copy and paste or selecting the song and clicking on the "add to MySpace" button.

A follow-up message will inform you that your upload was a success and is now on your profile.

If you have a video on your computer that you would like to put on your profile, first make sure you have permission to do so. Once you have permission to post it on your profile, simply hit the "upload" button. You will be asked to give a description of the video you are uploading, so type in the name of the song and who is singing it. This will help others who may be looking for the same artist /song. Once the info has been filled in. hit the "continue" button. On the next page shown, hit the "browse" button so that you can search your files to find the video you want to add to your profile. Once you locate it hit the "upload" button to transfer a copy to your profile page. Be sure the video is not copyright protected, whereas MySpace has strict copyright laws they adhere to and as a result your video maybe deleted from your profile. The same applies to anything that may not be considered appropriate for public forum, such as explicit language or anything of a pornographic nature.

Adding music videos to your MySpace profile is fun and adds so much to your profile. It helps you express to others not only your music tastes but part of who you are and what is happening in your life. The process is not difficult or time consuming, other than trying to pick out your favorite videos to add from the wide selection of videos there is to choose from.
