Havianas are the Brazilian make of flip-flops. Each Country has their own name for this unique little footwear. One has to say though that they are most popular and can be found in almost every country.

They are just a flat sole type sandal that has no back to it and essentially the only thing that holds it on the foot is the Y-shaped strap very much likes a thong that is quite thin. Havianas are suitable for all age groups and most anybody can enjoy this type of footwear especially in the warm weather when normal type shoes tend to cause the feet perspire and perhaps breakout in sores. For long walking excursions, that on flat ground the Havana’s is the perfect footwear.

Ideally, one could have several pairs of different colors that they could keep to match the casual wardrobe. This is a very easy way of staying coordinated but yet simple.

Even though the Havianas for flip-flops relatively expensive it is a good idea to buy a good brand such as the Havianas because you do need a good protection on the sole of your foot.

This simple style of footwear such as the Havianas is now being taken more seriously in the construction and the materials being used to afford a greater protection and to make them longer lasting. This is because of the popularity of the flip-flop itself and therefore produces a good world market.
