Cars are very important to everyone. It is a very convenient means of private transportation. It is used for going to work, picking up the children from school, or for traveling. Cars will naturally get dirty as it traverses the roads everyday. It is easy for dirt to accumulate. It gets dirtier with mud when it rains. Dirt makes it easy for the vehicle to look rugged and old. Dirt is ugly to look at, plus it could damage the car especially when dirt is sucked up in the engines or other important systems of the mechanism.

This is one of the reasons why there are a lot of auto cleaning and car wash centers. People are just too much busy to clean their own car. Others are too lazy to clean their cars so they just let this auto cleaning and car washes establishments to clean it for them. It is the easiest way to go.

But do you know that you can save money if you know how to clean your own car? All you have to do is look for some information and follow the steps given to you. You will be amazed at how easy it is that you will not opt to have it cleaned anymore. Aside from saving money, you better protect your car from incurring scratches or being damaged. After all, you will best handle your car because you know how much you value it.

Cleaning does not only include the body or the exterior. The interior is equally important. It is where you seat everyday. You breathe in the air inside the car always. Your children sleep at back during the ride. It is like your second home when you travel. If you keep your home clean, keep the interiors of your vehicle clean also.

You should also learn how to clean the motor of the car. Lastly, try to keep your rims and tires as shiny as brand new. It appears that the whole car is clean when the rims are very shiny.

The first thing that you can do in the interior part of your car is to vacuum it. Separate the car’s floor mats and vacuum it separately. Never forget to vacuum both the car’s seats and carpet. Even the pedals should be vacuumed. The dashboards and doors can be wiped with a soft rag to prevent scratches. Use soft brush attachments attached to the vacuum. The seats of the car are very delicate and can be easily damaged. Take care that the vacuum hose does not scratch the fabric.

Of course no matter how often you vacuum, it is still important to replace the seat covers every so often. Have another set you can use while the first one is in the laundry. These need to be washed clean with water and soap also, not just vacuumed all the time.

Take out the foot rugs and wash brush it clean with water and soap also. Dry it before taking it back to the car. Wax the dashboard and other leathery parts of the interior. This lessens dust from sticking to the surface. It is also easier to wipe it clean when waxed.

Hang some air fresheners to breathe clean air while in transit. The air-conditioner will blow on it when turned on.
