However, recently Dr. Seuss Movies have moved into the non-animated media. The most popular by far is the Christmas movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas. This was originally produced as an animated movie years ago. The non-animated version stars Jim Carey as the Grinch.

More Dr. Seuss Movies are in the plans to be remade. The next movie in the works to be released is Horton Hears A Who. This will be an animated movie featuring the voices of Jim Carey and Steve Carell.
