We have all suffered from build ups of fat around our tummy, on our thighs and hips etc. The question is, what to do about them? We Would all appreciate some top tips to help us flatten stomach bulge, lose our love handles and get in shape fast. Read on for 3 such tips...

Tip 1: Don't Consume What You Won't Burn Off

Over consumption of the wrong kind of foods is the major contributor to being overweight. It is possible to halt the onward march to obesity by taking control of your diet. To succeed in learning how to flatten stomach fat build up, you first need to STOP:

Eating too many processed meats like bacon, salami and bologna. Replace them with skinless chicken, fresh fish and other lean unprocessed meats

Eating over refined white bread. Replace it with wholemeal bread, which keeps you feeling fuller longer. The same goes for pasta and rice, the brown versions are much healthier

Snacking on potato chips, cakes, chocolate, pastries and all those other unhealthy treats. Have some nutritious fruit for a snack instead

Drinking sugary fizzy drinks. Most fizzy drinks are crammed with simple sugars and contain no nutrition. The body will convert the sugar into fat if not burned off. Drink plenty of plain old water instead to keep your body hydrated, it will also help you feel full up

These simple changes to your diet are an important step when learning how to flatten stomach bulges, love handles etc.

Tip 2: Start Burning Off The Excess Weight You Are Carrying

Once you have stopped putting excess calories into your body, it is time to burn off the excesses of your former eating habits. Simple cardiovascular exercises are the best way to do this, with the most effective of all being daily jogging. A 30 minute jog will burn off around 400 calories, think of the cumulative effect of that if you jogged 5 days a week!

How to flatten stomach bulges and other fatty build ups through cardio exercise requires you maintain the exercise for at least 30 minutes a time. This means keeping your whole body moving and your heart beating at a higher rate for the full 30, at least! Be sure to give your body 1 or 2 rest days a week.

Tip 3: Lose The Flab, Then Tone The Abs

Once you are eating right and burning off the excess pounds you where carrying, you will have succeeded in learning how to flatten stomach fat build up. You may be happy to continue with this and be proud of your flattened look, or you may want to tone up your stomach muscles.

Simple exercises you can do at home include sit ups, crunches and twists. These all target the abdominal region, and will lead to a clearer muscle definition over time. However, no number of abdominal exercises will produce noticeable results if you don't follow this lesson on how to flatten stomach fat. All your hard work will remain hidden under layers of fat if you don't starting burning them off!
