Serving tea in Moroccan tea glasses is a way of life in Morocco and is their way of extending Moroccan hospitality to friends and family as well as any guests whether for business or pleasure. Moroccans use any excuse to stop and serve their hot mint tea throughout the day when they welcome people into their homes or to a business setting. Their mint tea is usually served very sweet and but it is considered healthy for you with known natural remedies making it another good reason to serve this mint tea and extend Moroccan hospitality to your own friends and family.

Moroccans make an impressive presentation with their Moroccan tea glasses along with the serving tray and teapot used as presentation is everything when serving mint tea in Morocco. The teapot and serving tray make it an impressive display and are all part of the proper way to express hospitality to visitors that are welcomed into their home or business. Moroccan tea tables are usually used to place the tea on. These large round low tables usually have wooden legs with the top a huge brass or silver tea tray elaborately patterned and detailed making the ultimate in tea settings. This could be used in a living room or an office area where tea is usually served for larger groups of people. You can also get smaller and more intimate sizes to be used for smaller groupings.

The Moroccan tea glasses are beautifully detailed with designs etched in gold or silver on colorful red, blue or green glassware or more muted colors of rose, pale blue or pale green. Some are more subdued with the gold or silver design done on clear glass instead of colored glass but all are beautiful to see. Sold in sets of six the Moroccan mint tea glasses are often matched sets or you can mix and match them with different colors using the same pattern although sometimes several different types are used but they always make a wonderful display.

Moroccan tea glasses are served their tea from a chic silver teapot with elaborate patterns and designs that might have an old-fashioned look with their curved handles and spouts but they fit the setting perfectly and look great on the tray with the glasses. You will find more modern styles that are available that are made of glass or ceramic but traditionally Moroccan teapots are usually silver.

The finishing touch for this presentation are tea trays that hold the Moroccan tea glasses and are beautifully engraved with detailed patterns in silver plate or brass and are placed on the tea table with some having little legs to support them making it easier to place the tray on the table. Usually round, rectangular or octagonal with slightly raised sides and handles these trays are Moroccan works of art that are also practical and all offer a thoroughly regal presentation that will enchant anyone. Once you have experienced the joys of mint tea served in this style you will want to continue the tradition in your own home.
