A growing number of people in Unites States are getting obese. An estimated 60 percent of current American population is said to be gaining weight to dangerous scales. People should become aware of the number on their scales and have healthier meals.

Food experts advice that we should introduce whole grains and newly harvested vegetables every meal time. Each meal should consist of foods that are rich in fiber which provides our bodies with limitless benefits. Some foods supplies our body with phyto-nutrient and anti-oxidant that keep our immunity to sickness strong. Take an orange a day and you will already have about 25 percent of the recommended daily diet.

Oranges also contains vitamin C for faster wound healing.

At least a 20-35 grams of fiber is needed by our body to receive a beneficial effect. Researches have said there is a right kind of diet for each individual. Factors like a person’s height, weight and physical activity can affect the kind of regimen which will suit you. Some strongly suggests that eating high fiber foods should be the first on your menu everyday.

Hundreds of books, articles or magazines have been published to widen the public’s knowledge about the healthy way of eating. There are some non-profit organizations who hold out public meetings or seminars so as to inform the public of the importance of a healthy diet. They have even reorganized the food pyramid chart and put high-dietary foods to be taken at abundant amount.

As the public remains ignorant of the benefits of a healthy diet their health goes down the hill. Making the public more susceptible to various debilitating diseases. To keep our health in good condition we must understand clearly the role we play here. But still people find it difficult to comply with a healthy diet.

These pointers will help you include fruits and vegetable a lot easier into your diet:

Blend in—Use the old handy blender for this. Try a mixture of a variety of fruits that you can blend and make a nice cool smoothie. You can add in your diet supplement or some nut butter to enhance the taste.

Toss it up!—supermarkets are helping you with this one. They put a mix of leafy vegetables together, giving you more time to enjoy your food than laboring in the kitchen.

Wok it out—Stir-fried vegetables like string beans ,carrots and peas. You will only need a drop of oil to cook your food. Top it on cooked brown rice for a healthier touch.

Add a fiber supplement—Its readily available. Healthy granola bars, oatmeal bars, energy drinks and shakes, pills and a lot more. These are some examples of food on the go that is just quite right for you. So that even through your busy schedule you will still get the right amount of fiber needed by your body.

Fruits and Vegetables aid in digestion because they are fiber based. However it is also very easy to supplement with a fiber product to make sure that you get your 35 grams of fiber everyday.
