Such convenience also contributes to sustained success regardless of economic factors.

When the economy is poor, discounts and deals become attractive. For people looking for a deal, the internet is usually the best place for them to look for deals. The overhead of running an online business is very low. This has a definite effect on price and allows an internet marketer to offer deals that might not be available in retail stores. This further makes purchasing online attractive to buyers in a weak economy.

Speaking of low overhead, online marketing ventures can be promoted quite easily and without investing a great deal of money. Traditional methods of search engine optimization and email marketing can all yield a great response with limited financial outlay. The new rage of social networking marketing and online video hosting can all promote an internet marketing plan without any cost whatsoever. These all add to the low advertising budgets that make internet marketing potentially lucrative.

Internet marketing is a perennially viable business model. Yes, the ups and downs of the economy can have a somewhat negative impact now and then. But, overall, internet marketing is a relatively safe venture that can turn profits quite effectively regardless of market ups and downs.
