Your wedding day is fast approaching and you want everything to be perfect. You’ve got the flowers picked out, the cake is ordered, and the invitations have gone out. Great! So far so good….except for one small detail: those extra pounds. You know that all eyes will be on you, so what’s a bride to do? Follow one of these plans and you will be walking down the aisle svelte and glowing!

Cabbage Soup Diet

This seven day diet works well for quick weight loss. Each day you eat cabbage soup combined with other very healthy foods, such as fruits, vegetables and lean meat. The combination of foods is different for each day.

3 Apples a Day

This is a popular diet that is both effective and easy to follow. The basic plan is quite simple: just eat an apple prior to each meal of the day. That’s really all there is to it! Apples are low in calories and high in fiber. The fiber and bulk help curb your hunger so you’ll eat less. Be sure your meals and snacks are healthy also.

Acai Berries

Pronounced ah-sigh-ee, this exotic berry from the Amazon jungles has been all the rave lately. Acai berries contain a very high level of antioxidants, vitamins and essential fatty acids, as well as other nutritional substances. They taste a bit like chocolate and are one of the most nutritious foods you can eat. Taken in capsule form, this supplement helps boost energy, decrease appetite and build muscle, which help promote weight loss.

Colon Cleanse

As a result of our highly processed and generally unhealthy Western diet, many of us are storing several pounds of old waste material in our bodies. A colon cleanse both detoxes your body and helps you lose pounds by getting rid of that excess waste. A colon cleanse is often combined with acai berry supplements for best results.

Low Carbohydrate High Protein Diet

Many people have used a low carbohydrate diet for weight loss with good success. On this diet you eat primarily lean protein and keep your carbohydrate intake very low. Your body will burn more fat as a result.

Eat Multiple Mini Meals

One of the keys to weight loss is speeding up your metabolism while cutting back on calories. Eat 5 or 6 small, healthy meals a day and your body will burn more calories because your metabolism will increase. By eating several small meals you will also feel less hungry throughout the day.

Alternate Your Calorie Intake

Another effective way to lose weight is by switching your calorie intake back and forth. You eat a normal amount of calories for a couple days, and then you cut back on calories for the next two days. By going back and forth like this for awhile, your body is fooled into using up more calories, resulting in weight loss.
Choose the plan which works best for you, and by your wedding day you will feel great about your weight!
