Sounds pretty ridiculous, doesn't it? Why would anyone want to destroy their successful eBay business - even if it's just beginning? Yet people foolishly shoot themselves in the foot over and over and here are some of the ways to wreck your promising new biz.

How To Destroy Your Online eBay Business #1: Lie About Your Product

Tell people that an item works well, when in reality it doesn't work at all. If there is a scratch on it, tell the customer that it is in perfect condition.

How To Destroy Your Online eBay Business #2: Mail Whenever You Get Around To It

Keep your customers waiting around for their item to show up. Post whenever the urge strikes you. After all, you want them to buy from someone else the next time they need something.

How To Destroy Your Online eBay Business #3: End Your Auctions At 3A.M.

Don't be worried about when you auction ends. If it ends in the dead of night, no one will care one iota. Why use your valuable time to figure out good ending times for your auctions?

How To Destroy Your Online eBay Business #4: Ignore Those Whining Losers

Since customers only waste your time with their constant whining, don't even think about reading and responding to email. You don't have to do anything, your eBay business can certainly take care of itself. When people ask you questions about an item, just say you don't know or ignore them altogether.

How To Destroy Your Online eBay Business #5: Sell Junk

It's eBay! Sell junk if you want to. Make a 200% profit selling crap to your customers. What do these people expect to get for the price they pay for the item? Worrying about quality is for other people.

How To Destroy Your Online eBay Business #6: Premium Prices, Only

Don't negotiate on price, or give any kind of discounts. You know your profit margin, and what the item costs you. You wouldn't want the customers to buy from you again, and they will if you give them a special discount.

How To Destroy Your Online eBay Business #7: Write Really Exciting Listings

Put as many annoying animations, flashing lights, and colors as you can, to give everyone that visits your store a reason to use a gun on themselves. Be certain to use huge, red CAPITALS. Comic Sans and Impact are the best fonts to use. Music that is loud and obnoxious really adds to the overall feel of your site. In other words, turn your eBay auction ads into one ginormous scream!

How To Destroy Your Online eBay Business #8: Don't Waste Time With Those Silly Photos

Forget about wasting your time on photos - they just take too much time out of your life. The hell with buyers that whine about wanting to see something before they buy it - let them go somewhere else. It's not like you need the business anyway. And besides that, a digital camera is expensive and you don't want to waste any money on frivolities.

How To Destroy Your Online eBay Business #9: Don't Bother Buyers With Silly Details

Abbreviations that mean nothing, as well as the shortest descriptions possible, are the way to go. In the description box, just write the title, instead of coming up with something new. Why waste time on foolish information that they probably don't need anyway? And besides, you're a busy person. You've got to use your time wisely and wasting it writing stuff is just plain dumb.

How To Destroy Your Online eBay Business #10: Keep 'em Guessing

Scare away your customers with elusive reserve auctions so they have no clue about your real price. They will be rushing to click the back button when they see the reserve hasn't yet been met. There are so many normal auctions out there that they can bid on, so what's the big deal?

So whether your successful eBay business is years old - or weeks old - here are 10 sure-fire, 100% guaranteed, dyed-in-the-wool ways to ruin it.
