A good razor should be able to easily reach the area that you want to shave. It should be manouverable, without too much effort on the user’s part. The old straight razors may give a good shave but when you want to follow the contours of your face, it’s hard work with a straight razor.

It should be possible to use different blades, to suit different skin types. Obviously, more sensitive skin will require a lighter blade and hard , rough skin will call for a tougher blade. So it should be easy to change blade types in and out.

Durablility is an important asset of a razor – that is, the durablilty of the blades. Because razor blades tend to be expensive, you shouldn’t have to be changing them too frequently. A set of 4 or 5 blades can be more expensive than the razor itself, so it’s reasonable to expect them to have a long life.

Safety is an important aspect of a razor, especially in these health-and-safety conscious times. Skin cuts from razors can be painful, unsightly and there is always a possiblilty of infection. It is imperative that the razor is designed with the safety of the user in mind.

And for the reassurance of the customer, it’s important to know that you have the option of returning the product if it does not measure up to your expectations.

One razor that meets all of these requirements is the Rolling Razor and it has gained a great reputation among celebrities and sports stars.

Rolling Razor, Inc. was established in early 2000 after eight years of research and development. Created by 2 entrepreneurs that carried a mutual interest for business and engineering a product with the publics’ interest in mind. So nearly 100 years after Gillette made an impact on the shaving market with disposable blades, Rolling Razor revolutionized the market taking it a step further. These two inventors put in countless hours making each prototype better than the last, until finally the perfect shaver was born. The founders realized from the start of their research that excellent customer service would need to be a high strong point in the success of Rolling Razor. In order to keep tract of customer service the Rolling Razor is currently only available at the online location, although the there are discussions about opening physical locations.

In initial discussions personal frustrations of the overall shaving experience from cost, time spent, and skin irritations sent the inventors to the drawing board with an idea in mind; with months the Rolling Razor instrument was designed. Rolling Razor was made to make shaving a better experience across the board. The design was made to fit around your index finger and wraps your thumb and middle finger around the outside handle giving you a more natural shaving experience. Holding the Rolling Razor in this fashion also allows the user to have more control over their shaving experience.
