San Diego, California is quickly becoming a difficult city to find an open home in. With its beautiful weather, close vicinity to the ocean, and wonderful residents, it truly is no surprise that homes are quickly being snatched up by people who love the atmosphere and want to make it their permanent home.

If you are considering moving to San Diego you may want to think about living downtown. While there are not many homes in this area, there are a large amount of condominiums. These units have a great advantage over homes as they provide a wonderful dwelling and do not require you to keep up with the exterior. These condominiums are also much more affordable than the houses that are in the San Diego area.

Another great reason to move to San Diego is that people are always coming there! Many people enjoy the weather year round. It does not get overly hot, and it does not become too cold. In fact, you might notice that people wear shorts around all year. Being in California means that the sun is nearly always shining, and the weather is almost always perfect to go to the beach, relax in the comfort of your hammock or simply walk around.

Originally started as a Spanish mission, San Diego does keep with some of its Spanish roots. There are certain sections of town where you can see the buildings being influenced by the Spanish. Other areas of town are very normal, with modern and older buildings being renovated for new offices, businesses and other great uses of space!

Unlike many other cities where it is nearly impossible to get around, you can walk around San Diego and not feel as if you are an outcast. Many people bike to work, or walk down the block to the store to get whatever they need. Restaurants are plentiful, offering up wonderful selections from the sea, and even outdoor seating. Being able to people watch in San Diego means that you can find who is dating who, and the other latest gossip about what is going on throughout town.

Home prices in certain sections of town are still relatively low. However, as more and more people discover the charm of San Diego, it will be difficult to keep prices this low. There are many attractions around the city, including Disneyland which is just a short drive away. You can fly from the San Diego airport to Los Angeles and catch a flight to nearly anywhere in the world. Highways wind in and out through the city, making sure that you can get to any other part of California or the United States quickly.

One of the best cities that you can live in is San Diego. The weather, people, and atmosphere is so friendly. There are many people who enjoy being able to associate with others. There are very few restrictions on what can be done and you can truly be yourself. Home prices are low now, but may not stay that way for long. So if you are considering visiting San Diego, you may want to visit now!
