San Diego, California is one of the nations most intriguing cities. It offers people a glimpse of the future to people who do not live in this very progressive area. While it is also considered liberal, San Diego is a city that wants to make things better and do so while moving forward. In order to make things better, they have adopted several techniques to their city.

One of the best parts about San Diego is its layout. There are businesses everywhere! Everything seems like it is so open, and you are able to deal with just about anyone. Restaurants that you see are overwhelming with people and tourists as well as locals see eye to eye on everything. Whether you enjoy being able to stroll down the sidewalk, or want to be able to walk to your work, you can do so in San Diego.

Another awesome thing about San Diego is that it is so acceptable to so many different groups. There are many different people who enjoy being with each others. Nowhere else would you see different ethnic and religious groups getting together to work together as a community. San Diego as a city is extremely safe. Sure, there are portions of the city where crime is high, but the city is actively working towards eliminating that. Burglary, and other home related crimes are very low, with many people leaving their doors unlocked at night. As strange as that sounds, it is 100% true!

One of the best features of San Diego is the weather. You are able to walk around in shorts and a t-shirt nearly everyday of the year. There is no dress code in nearly every restaurant, and people who work in offices usually have an open dress code. Being able to express yourself freely seems to be what San Diego is about. You are easily able to find people who agree with your cause, whether it be to save an old building or make a new playground at a park. The entire community works together to make itself better.

San Diego was originally a Spanish mission, and you can feel the Spanish influence on some parts of the city. However, as a whole the entire city is very well planned out and offers different styles of buildings for different people. There are homes, but they are usually on the edges of the city and can be rather expensive. Condominiums and apartments are the home to most city dwellers, as they are both affordable and offer the best amenities. Rent might seem high to some people, but certain areas offer lower rents and specials are very common.

San Diego is an amazing city. The mix of culture and community allows nearly anyone to live there. You can get along with so many people that it will amaze you. You should check out San Diego before the affordable housing options are gone. Hurry, they will not last forever and you want to live in San Diego!
