I remember that time when my parents took me to the orthodontist. I was about 13 years old and I prayed and prayed to hear the doctor say “Congratulations! Your son doesn’t need braces” but it didn’t happen. So I cried and I yelled and I didn’t let anybody near my mouth. Just the thought of what braces could do to my social life! I did not care about crooked teeth and I came back home happy, without braces.
