Baton Rouge attracts many visitors every year. It is a good mix of Creole and Cajun culture along with its beautiful parks and architectural structures, there are several things to see and do here.

Baton Rouge is the largest city and the capital city of Louisiana. It is situated in the East Baton Rouge Parish that contains about 430,813 residents. Aside from this, the area also contains about 190,037 residents. It is a main port center, petrochemical and an industrial center of the American South. Several structures such as the Pennington Biomedical Research center, Louisiana State archives, Louisiana Arts and Sciences Center, Bluebonnet Swamp Interpretive Center, the Louisiana Naval Museum, LSU Student Union, Louisiana State Library and the Baton Rouge River Center were designed by John Desmond, a Baton Rouge architect.
