Exodus Oil - The Making Of

The following comes as a result of the Lord's leading me into an intense study about the anointing oils in the Bible. As I studied more and more the Lord kept telling me to make the Temple Oil talked about in Ex 30:23-24. In Exodus the oil is used on the building and implements of the temple. God kept it placed in front of me that the oil was not to be used on the churches as I at first thought but now we are His Temple.

In my search for the various oils I couldn’t find the Calamus. Miraculously the Lord brought a man who "happened" to walk into a temp agency. They were talking among themselves about oils when this man began to tell them about various oils and what they were used for. They asked him how he knew so much. His reply was that he sold oils. They called me and I got in touch with him. He was the final link to finding the final oil of Calamus. The man later shared with me that the Lord had told him that he would be involved in something very special in regards to oils.

I woke one morning and the Lord said it is time. He told me the equation I needed to transfer the amounts given in the Bible down to a workable formula.

On July 30, 1998 the Lord gave me a verse In Hebrews 5:4 And no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God, just as Aaron was.

Then a friend called and said God told her to stop on her way to an appointment and call me "now!" She pulled over to a phone booth and called with a verse the Lord told her. Malachi 3:3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness.

(who are the son's of Levi? Deu 31:9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.)

Then Les called with Gal. 6:1-3 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

All the scriptures went together. The Lord had been telling me to take no honor to myself that I was called as Aaron was. That I was to be a vessel through which He would be a refiner and purifier to the Priest bringing back His righteousness and His Glory. That in a Spirit of gentleness brethren that had been overtaken in trespasses would be restored.

A caution was given to not think of myself as something special because I would be deceiving myself.

All confirmed what others had been trying to tell me and what the Lord had been telling me. I was now to make the oils.

July 30, 1998

The Lord said to make the oil now. As I prepared all seem as usual. I put the first item in the bottle. Ok. I put the second item in the bottle. My hands begin to shake. I thought it a bit strange but continued. Put in the third ingredient. The room began to fill with the Presence of God. As I put in the final ingredient the anointing fell on me in such a strength I could hardly sit in the chair. I was shaking rather hard by now and feeling His Presence ever so strong.

After mixing the oil I just smelled it to see what it smelled like. The oil seemed hot, almost steamy. After I smelled it the power of the Anointed One, our Lord, came so strong all I can say is, woe!!!! Wow, Oh Lord.

During the time after making the oils I did my best to try and keep notes on what was happening to me. This was very difficult because the anointing was so strong.

“It has taken everything within in me to maintain throughout the day and care for the children. I just want to pull into the Lord. When I get a small chance it is so beautiful, so deep to the point of beginning to lose sense of my surroundings. It has been two hours and nothing is lifting. I would love to stay here.”

When I picked up the bottle again my hand turned numb and my inners began to shake. Woe, Lord don't stop, this is incredible.

July 31, 1998

It is the following day. I will try to explain what happened yesterday after making the oil.

Since I had access to the church I headed there. Oh, Glory!

When I reached the church I made sure no one could disturb me by going into the sanctuary and locking the doors. I put on worship music. I took the bottle out of my purse. The Power of the Precious One was so strong. As I opened the bottle my body began to go weak. I smelled the wonderful smell. Oh the Glory that began to surround me. Carefully I placed my finger over the top and tipped the bottle to anoint myself for the first time. Ever so careful to not spill the oil nor put too much on my finger. The Power was getting stronger, I needed to close the bottle and secure it quickly. I didn't know how long I could remain in control. After placing the bottle back into my purse with trembling hands I touched my forehead and slowly drew a cross.

The Power came down in a mighty wave; my feet went out from under me. For the next hour and 20 minutes I spent in Glory with my Lord. I watched the Angels dance and praising God. I heard voices excitedly talking about making adjustments now that they had the opportunity. This was humorous to me because the Evangelist had always talked of how when you are slain in the Spirit that Holy Spirit was operating on you and making adjustments. As they gleefully raced about turning knobs my body would jerk and shake.

Then I became aware someone had grabbed my hands and was pulling me up. Oh, I didn't want to come back and who had gotten in and was disturbing me? I opened my eyes to see no one but my hands in front of me and my body being pulled up in a way that was impossible to stand up on your own. Then the words were spoken to me, "dance with me". So gentle, so loving, so precious. Oh the precious joy that flowed through me. The love of my Lord and the delight as we danced to the music. When the dance was over I sat in a chair.

As I sat there a spirit of warfare intercession came over me. Then peace and His love then another wave of warfare intercession. This went on for a time. I don't know how long.

When it was over the Lord came over to me again. He had been standing to the side watching me with a smile on His face. The Lord was so precious, so real. As I sat He came and stood in front of me reached out and held my hands and was just loving me until He said, "it is time to go". It seemed like I had just gotten there. When I went and looked at the clock it had been an hour and 20 minutes.

His Precious Presence is so peaceful so at rest so full of love.

Today he is still with me. I smelled the oil before I started my prayers today. It did nothing. After going through purification prayers I smelled the oil again. Wow, what a difference. I put one dab on each of my hands and drew a cross. The Precious Presence was just as strong as last night (and is still to this day in 2009). I was gone with Him. The Lord took care of the children by bringing me back in time for the two parents that were scheduled to come today. Then I spent the next one and half-hours in His beautiful Presence. The children played quietly and respected my need to be alone. I told them I couldn't talk. God was with me too much to please play quietly. They did.

It has been 3 1/2 hours since I anointed myself. I have such peace, a feeling of no cares just delighting in the Lord. I read His word He gave me yesterday since I wasn't able to read it very well before. His word is so alive so vivid.

It would be very very easy to become addicted to this beautiful feeling. May I ever be able to stay here and still do what I must day by day. That is my next goal is to find some way.

Now I am to make the incense. That should be easy. There are only five ingredients and all of the same measurement. To use both the incense and oils will be awesome.

Update: It is 2009 and I have made both the incense of the temple and the anointing oils of the temple found in Exodus. It is more then I ever dreamt.
