In order to become a pianist who is able to impart the feelings to the audience and enjoy the play, have the agility and confidence and be at ease while the performance is going on, you have to be very well prepared even during the practice.

To be prepared in playing in front of a large audience, make small or big compilations of the piano pieces that you want to play. The practice time that you have will determine the total number of pieces in your compilations. Getting to know the pieces by heart will help you remember the pieces for a long time.

See to it that during your practice, you are performing just like the way you will want to perform in front of the audience. The best way to do this is by following these tips:

1. While practicing, learn to make music. You should make sure to express the idea that the composer will want to portray in that certain piece while you are still practicing so that you will get used to doing it in front of an audience. You will have the full attention of the audience if you play with good facial expressions in every piece you play. You can enhance these if you involve these in your practice sessions.
