Ayurevda Pitta is one of the main doshas of traditional Indian medicine. It is best to understand the features and
qualities of people that are falling into this category. If you are not a Kapha or a Vata type, you surely are a Pitta.
Ayurveda Pitta is basically characterized by two main elements, namely water and fire. Pitta is the most revered among
all three Ayurvedic texts. In general, Pitta dosha has several basic characteristics.

The dosha of Pitta is usually hot and subtly oily. People under this category are usually sharp, burning, acidic, liquid, pungent, and sharp. They are observed to be commonly flowing in unbounded manner. Why these characteristics? This is because Ayurveda Pitta mainly constitutes of fire, in combination with a little water. Thus, to best describe such people, they could always startup and fuel flame, though they could not be the flame itself. Such people could be
compared to gasoline. The liquid is not hot when touched, but it could surely be an outstanding and effective source of
flames. It may appear like any ordinary liquid, but there is something with gasoline that makes it distinct and different from just about any liquid material.

People who are identified to take dominant Ayurveda Pitta constitution are typically having moderate level of physical
activities and moderate size of body. They could not be as bulky as the Kaphas. Pittas are generally ambitious and very
strong willed. In the process, these people could also be logically and apparently irritable, short-tempered, and highly aggressive especially under great physical stress. Pittas are believed and observed to me highly prone to different skin problems like skin irritations an sunburn. They are particularly prone to discomforts brought about by the heat and the sun particularly during summer.

Ayurveda Pitta people are usually having medium body proportions. They could have body frames that are neither heavy nor petite. Their skin could be warmer than usual and are usually ruddy or fair. Skin is also more sensitive compared to skin of other body types. The hair tends to be finer and is susceptible to premature thinning and graying. These people could be very sharp and very determined especially when it comes to their speech, action, and thought. Take note that such people could take an element of important purpose to their every step. There is a distinct and observable intensity that could be detected through their voice.

As mentioned, ambition could be Pittas’ second name. These people are often described by others as moderate sleepers
because they easily get awake. They tend to gravitate going to cooler environments. A person with a balanced Pitta
personality could exude much self confidence. There also is a distinct entrepreneurial spirit, making these people good
marketers and venture takers. They could work well with others, though not as harmoniously as the Kaphas.

In terms of food and diet, Ayurveda Pitta people could raise physiology though taking diets that are containing spicy and hot foods. They could also easily skip meals and do fasting. They could easily be stimulated by sour, pungent, and salty foods. On the contrary, Pittas could be weakened by bitter, acid-tasting, and sweet foods. These people are not indulgent like the Kaphas. They regard food as just a basic necessity that helps the body attain needed energy.
