What affiliate marketing opportunities are available? There are so many online products out there that trying to explain them all is well beyond the scope of this article. A google search of affiliate marketing product should suit your fine with your search. One thing to bear in mind though, be sure to look for a "recurring" payout from the vendor. Most vendors will provide you with a one-time commission on their product, even though their product is based on monthly payments from the customer, leaving you out in the cold on the second month, not to mention the money you leave on the table. Recurring payments are more ethical and are based on the length of time the customer stays. You receive your first months commission, then the next month and the next month you can expect the same payout.

The best part about starting with affiliate maketing as your first online venture is that it is an excellent short-term way to make money, then later after you've built up some capital, you may choose to move on to a different venture. It can be scary getting started on anything new. Affiliate marketing is your way to take the mystery out of your online business experience.
