In other words, even if you had a lot of money, you should try to think twice about purchasing a vehicle that emits a lot of toxic fumes (I.e. a large SUV) versus getting something that is a little more environmentally friendly.

The kind of car that people purchase depends on their personality as well as the kind of lifestyle that they have. For instance, someone like Crocodile Dundee probably won't be seen driving around in the Outback in a two-door hatchback car. Rather, it may make more sense for him to own something like a Jeep or small to mid-size sports utility vehicle. Despite the fact that the type of car a person gets depends on his or her personality, it also depends on a number of other factors. For example, if you are working out of a small budget, you may want a bigger car but may not be able to afford it.

The kind of car that you purchase shouldn't be a decision that is made based on emotion. Rather, you need to reason with yourself. Make a list of all of the car features that are important to you. Then, after you've made the list, sit down and review the list. While the color of your car may be important, should that really be a priority? How about the ratings that the vehicle received in the latest crash tests? If you live in a place that is really hot such as Arizona, New Mexico or Texas, having tinted windows may not be an option; it may be an absolute necessity. There are a lot of people who make poor choices when buying a car- loading themselves up with a ton of added 'options' that they don't really need. For instance, what role does having car rims that spin play into owning a vehicle?

Owning a car is a lot like going into Manhattan and watching a fashion show sometimes. Often, you'll find yourself driving down the street and looking around at all of the cars around you wondering to yourself why people made the choices they did in picking out the car that they are currently driving. I used to wonder why anyone in their right mind would want to purchase a car that was forest green in color. After thinking about it, not liking the color green was my opinion and did not necessarily reflect the opinion or feelings of other people who may think the world of that particular color. Similarly, others may be looking at the color of my car and wondering why I chose it.
